New Year, New Blog!

Three years ago our family moved to a new state. I saw blogging as an easy way of keeping in touch with our far away friends and began a blog dedicated to our family life. I soon discovered that I had stumbled into a delightful (and free!) creative outlet...letter writing and scrapbooking all rolled into one!  However, when I realized that people I had never met were actually reading the things I was writing, I quickly switched our blog over to a private setting. That wasn't something I was ready for quite yet!  While I love writing about my dear family, I have also found it very satisfying to write about other topics related to mothering and family life.  With some encouragement from my loyal readers and friends, here I am...back in the "real" blog world.  I will continue to update our family blog on a monthly basis, but I hope you will enjoy reading here as well.  My intent is to chronicle my own attempts to create and celebrate pleasant moments in everyday life. My prayer is that this will be a place of refreshment and encouragement for you!
